Organic Tomatoes (Wild tomatoes) Golden Currant
Wild tomatoes do not need to be spiked in contrast to tomato tomatoes. This reduces the workload and makes the varieties especially popular with hobby gardeners. A great variety among the wild tomatoes here is the ‘Golden Currant’. It forms numerous, small fruits. These have a sweet and juicy taste. The shell is yellow and also very decorative in salads.
The growth is quite bushy and the plant can also be used as a visual screen and be kept in check with a climbing aid. The ‘Golden Currant’ is also very tolerant of cabbage and brown rot and copes even with unfavorable conditions. A plant can produce up to 1,000 fruits.
