Waxflower Bee’s Favorite

Information: Annual. Wax flowers are very attractive flowers with bright blue flowers and blue bracts and grey-green oval fleshy leaves. Growth height approx. 60 cm.

Care: Preculture in a warm place (greenhouse/ windowsill) in pots, sow approx. 0.5 – 1 cm deep. Cover pots with plastic foil (transparent). Use seed compost. Keep temperatures and humidity constant. From May (frost-free) it can be sown directly outdoors. Planting distance: 30x30cm.

Use: It is ideal for beds and borders as well as for pots and bowls and rock gardens. Insect feeding plant and bee favourite!

Gardener tip: If the soil is not too moist in winter, many plants will be able to hibernate and flower in the coming early summer. Humic, well-drained soil preferred.

Germination: 10 – 21 days at 20 – 25°C
