Peanut

This plant is excellent for growing in pots. It bears lots of delicious peanuts on its roots and forms decorative yellow flowers.

Our tips:

• Germination temperature: 20°C
• Cultivate individually in pots or sow directly
• Can be sown all year round indoors
• Always keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging
• Requires a slightly sandy, deep, humus-rich soil
• Medium fertilizer requirement
• The flowers are only open for a short time and are self-pollinating
• Dry the harvested nuts in the oven at 150°C for about 20 minutes before eating
