Growing Information

Seed Quantity: 0.4 gram
Soil Type: Adaptable to loam, clay, or sandy soil; prefers acidic, alkaline, or neutral pH.

Light Preference: Thrives in sun or partial shade.

Sowing Instructions

Indoor Sowing: Sow in a propagator or seed tray filled with moist compost, covering the seeds 6mm (¼ inch) deep with sieved compost. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into trays spaced 5cm (2 inches) apart to grow on.
Direct/Cold Frame Sowing: Alternatively, sow directly in a cold frame during July to August. These plants will then be ready to plant out in autumn to flower the following spring.
