Carrot Purple Sun, F1, Seed Tape

The ‘Purple Sun’ carrot is a medium-late “primeval carrot” with a particularly sweet taste and good storage properties. Their violet color has a long tradition, as all carrots were originally violet in color before they came to us from the Orient. The roots, which are up to 25 cm long, are a real eye-catcher in the kitchen, especially in colorful raw vegetable salads.

The F1 hybrid ‘Purple Sun’ is a quality variety from the Kiepenkerl Profi-Line range, which can be sown quickly and easily by seed tape from April to June. It loves full sun and a nutrient-rich garden soil that is well loosened and does not allow waterlogging. The carrots can be harvested from August to October.
