Bonsai European Wild Apple

1,950 د.ك

There are around 20 archetypes of deciduous apples, the crossings of which have resulted in almost 20,000 varieties over the millennia and have made the apple the most widespread fruit tree in the world. Originally, the apple was widespread across Europe, Asia and North America.

Sowing:
Growing indoors is possible from February to October. First put the seeds in your refrigerator for three days, then let them soak in a bowl of room-warm water for another 24 hours and then place them one centimeter deep in potting soil. Cover the cultivation vessel with cling film, which you provide with holes. This protects the earth from drying out. Every two to three days you should remove the film for 2 hours. This prevents mold from forming on the potting soil. Place the cultivation vessel in a light and warm place with 20 to 25 ° Celsius and keep the cultivation soil moist, but not wet. Germination then takes place very quickly after four to eight weeks.

Care:
The apple prefers a sunny location because it needs a lot of light for the blossoms and fruit to develop. In summer, protection from the direct midday sun is advisable. Apple trees need a lot of water; especially after flowering with the onset of fruit formation. You should fertilize lightly in March before flowering, in early June after fruit formation and from late August to November once a month with liquid bonsai fertilizer. In winter, it is best to take your apple bonsai out of its shell and plant it outdoors, protected from the wind.
