Growing Information:

Transplant (Recommended): Sow your Zinnia Persian Carpet Organic seeds into 72-cell flats or preferred seedling containers about 4 weeks before your last expected frost. Cover the seeds and use a heat mat to maintain an optimal temperature of 80-85°F (27-29°C) for 3-5 days germination. Cooler temperatures (70-75°F/21-24°C) will result in slightly longer germination (5-7 days). Handle seedlings carefully to avoid root disturbance. Pinching the initial bud and consistent deadheading will encourage strong branching and abundant blooms.

Direct Sow: Once the soil has warmed, you can also direct sow seeds ¼ inch deep, spacing plants 9-12 inches apart. Succession planting every 2 weeks will provide a continuous supply of beautiful blooms.
