Growing Tips for Your Verbascum Hybridum Southern Charm Seeds:

Direct Sow (Autumn): Sow thinly into prepared soil approximately 2 months before the first frost. Once germinated, thin seedlings to a spacing of 45cm (18 inches).

Indoor Sow (Late Winter/Early Spring): Sow on the surface of deep pots or root trainers filled with moist, well-drained seed compost from February to March. Allow 3cm (1 inch) between seeds and just cover with a fine layer of soil or vermiculite. Keep moist and propagate at 15-18°C (59-64°F).

Germination takes 2-4 weeks. After germination, reduce moisture slightly, allowing the soil to dry out a bit between waterings. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them to 8cm (3 inch) pots.

Acclimatize them to outdoor conditions and plant out after all danger of frost has passed, with a spacing of 60cm (2 feet).
