Boost Your Tomato and Eggplant Yields with Grafting Kit

Enhance the health and productivity of your tomato and eggplant plants with this comprehensive Grafting Set. Featuring the robust ‘Estamino’ underlay variety as rootstock, this kit provides superior resistance to a wide range of soil-borne diseases and pests, including soil fungi and nematodes.

By grafting your preferred tomato or eggplant variety onto this resilient rootstock, you can significantly improve plant vigor and fruit formation.

Powerful Disease Resistance for Healthy Growth

The ‘Estamino’ F1 hybrid rootstock offers exceptional resistance to several critical diseases: viruses, fusarium wilt, fusarium head and foot rot, verticillium wilt, cork root disease, and nematodes. This protection from ground-based infestations ensures that your chosen ‘noble variety’ is also spared from these threats, allowing it to flourish.

The strong root system of the ‘Estamino’ underlay vigorously supports plant growth and abundant fruit production.

Complete Grafting Kit for Success

This convenient set includes 7 ‘Estamino’ underlay seeds and 7 silicone grafting clips, providing everything you need to get started with grafting your tomato and eggplant plants. Follow the cultural references below for optimal growth of the rootstock seedlings.

Culture References for ‘Estamino’ Rootstock:

  • Location: Thrives both outdoors and in the greenhouse in a sunny, sheltered position with nutrient-rich, loose, and humus-rich soil.
  • Sowing Time: End of February to March.
  • Sowing Location: Windowsill or greenhouse.
  • Germination Temperature: 18 to 22 °C (64 to 72 °F).
  • Germination Time: 8 to 14 days.
  • Sowing Instructions: Use only germ-free soil with low salt content. Press the seeds evenly into the soil surface (do not cover ‘Estamino’ seeds as they are light germinators). Water gently and keep consistently moist. Covering the container with a transparent film with air holes can help maintain humidity but remove it once seedlings emerge.
  • Ongoing Care: Keep plants evenly moist, fertilize every 14 days during the growing season, and promptly remove unwanted side shoots.

Give your tomato and eggplant plants a strong and healthy foundation with this Tomato and Eggplant Grafting Set!
