Sweet Red (F1) Dianthus

2–5″ rounded clusters of single-petaled, deep red blooms on long, strong stems. Red color is slightly lighter and brighter than Sweet Black Cherry. Bred for greenhouse and high-tunnel production but also suitable for open field. Demonstrated excellent performance overall in our fall-planted, overwintered and unheated tunnel trial; it bloomed about 4 weeks earlier than Amazon.
