Growing Tips for Your Salpiglossis Bolero Mix Seeds:
Start seeds indoors approximately 8 weeks before your typical last frost. Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in a seed starting formula.
Keep seeds covered and away from light until germination, as darkness is required. Maintain a soil temperature of 70-75°F (21-24°C) and keep the soil consistently moist. Seedlings should emerge in 14-30 days.
Once seedlings appear, provide plenty of light (sunny windowsill or grow lights). Feed with a half-strength starter fertilizer solution when seedlings are 3-4 weeks old. Transplant seedlings to 3 or 4-inch pots when they have at least two pairs of true leaves to allow for strong root development.
