The name of the variety says it all ! Kobold is a small paprika, therefore particularly stable and ideally suited for cultivation in the tub on the balcony and terrace. Of course, it is also suitable for the field or for cultivation in the vegetable patch. As if that wasn’t enough, the variety Kobold also a large number (up to 40 fruits) of small (50 – 70g), aromatic block fruits that ripen first green, then red. Highly resistant to tobacco mosaic virus of breed 0, height approx. 50 cm.

Care
Sow from February to April in a warm room / greenhouse. The seeds are sown in pots or seed trays, approx. 0.5 – 1 cm deep and lightly covered with sieved soil. Keep moist at all times. Use sterile sowing soil or containers! The pre-soaking of the seeds (approx. 24 hours) in lukewarm water or chamomile tea is beneficial for germination. Stretch cling film over the sowing containers and remove condensation. If the fruit set is too high, support the plant.

Use
Ideal snack vegetables. Paprika goes very well with cheese as a raw food and cut in strips or cubes in salads of all kinds.
