• To grow Ranunculus from tubers, start by soaking the tubers in cool water for a few hours until they plump up. Then, plant them in a well-draining potting mix with the “claw” side down, covering them with about 2 inches of soil. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, and provide a cool, dark location for pre-sprouting. Once they develop roots and shoots, they can be transplanted to a sunny spot with well-draining soil, or into larger containers for greenhouse growing.
