We know the Radish from its spicy and fresh taste. Delicious as a snack or to use in a salad. Radishes look spherical, but it is actually the thickened root of the plant. Don’t let this tuber get too big, because then it will taste mealy. A Radish contains no fat, few calories and a lot of fiber, a delicious healthy snack. Most radishes are red in color, but there are also varieties that are yellow, white or pink. The seed in this bag produces radishes of the variety ‘French Breakfast’ in the color red and white, they are nicely oval in shape and suitable for cultivation in the open ground.

Care
Radishes are best grown in lighter soils, such as sandy or sandy soil. If you have a heavier soil type, mix in a lot of crusher sand and grow on a raised bed. You can sow from March under cold glass and from mid-April outdoors in the open ground. The flavor is best when they have been grown in cooler temperatures, so in summer choose a cool place in light shade. Sow in spring and autumn in the sun, but water evenly so that they do not dry out. High temperatures cause overshoot, which means that the plants will flower, the tuber will not grow further and the taste will become bitter. Sow on unfertilized soil, because too much food gives a lot of leaves and few tubers. It can take up to 14 days for the seeds to germinate, but harvesting is soon after, within 4-6 weeks. You can harvest in stages,
