The Pimientos de Padrón, originally from Spain, are known here as green tapas peppers. They get their name from a dish prepared regionally in Spain, which is now widespread. The surprising thing about this pepper is the different degrees of spiciness of the individual fruits. Ideal vascular culture. The approx. 1520 g heavy fruits should be harvested in an unripe, green state with a fruit length of no more than 8 cm. If you let them hang on the plant for a longer period of time, they will turn red, but hardly change the taste if they ripen for a longer period of time. The plants reach a height of 7080 cm. Suitable for cultivation in the greenhouse and outdoors. All you need for proper preparation is a little olive oil and coarse sea salt, and they can be ideally served as a snack or starter.
