PATISSON STRIE MELANGE
‘Strie Melange’ are lightly and strongly warty Patisson. The fruits have a discus shape and vary in color. You could eat them but then you will have to pick them at a very young stage. Otherwise they are really not tasty. It has been found that most people use these warty flying saucers as decoration. But if you still want to try it, it is best to prepare them immediately after picking because the soft young fruits are very fragile and spoil quickly.
The plant has a shrubby habit.
If the temperature permits, you can sow directly into the ground. Make sure that the soil has a temperature of about 18 °C at the time of sowing and the following week at sowing depth, so that the germination process runs smoothly and the seed is not affected by fungi and bacteria.
