Experience Unmatched Uniformity with Pansy DeltaPro Blotch Mix Seeds
Produced for precision, our Pansy DeltaPro Blotch Mix Seeds bring the highest programmability and uniformity to a multi-season pansy. Enjoy early and extremely uniform flowering, both within the mix and across the entire DeltaPro series, taking the guesswork out of planning and production for both spring and fall displays. The compact and heavily branched plants quickly fill pots, making them ideal for high-density finishing. Short, non-stretching flower stems hold large, showy flowers upward, providing long-lasting, impactful retail displays and stunning garden color.
Ideal for Multi-Season Color in Various Climates
For fall, winter, and spring blooms in regions with hot summers, sowing seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before you want to transplant them outdoors when the weather is cooler (typically late summer to early fall for winter/spring blooms) is recommended. Starting indoors is highly advised to control germination conditions, especially during hotter periods.
Starting Indoors: Use a fine-textured, well-draining seed-starting mix. Sow seeds 1/8 inch (about 3 mm) deep, as pansy seeds need darkness to germinate, so ensure they are lightly covered. Maintain a cool soil temperature of 15-21°C for optimal germination, which may require a cooler room or a shaded area indoors. Keep the seed-starting mix consistently moist but not waterlogged. Ensure the seeds are kept in complete darkness until they germinate by covering the seed trays with a dark plastic sheet or placing them in a dark room. Expect germination in 7-14 days under the right conditions. Once seedlings emerge, provide them with bright, indirect light, gradually increasing light intensity as they grow.
Transplanting: Once Pansy DeltaPro Blotch Mix seedlings have several true leaves and the weather outdoors is suitable (cooler temperatures), you can gradually acclimate them (harden off) and transplant them into their final growing positions, spacing them about 6-8 inches apart. Choose a location with partial sun to full sun for optimal growth.
