Oregano Dost

Popular pizza spice, hot and spicy. Do not use for domestic slaughter. Makes fatty foods more digestible and can be used as a tea.

Sowing time: Sow in pots or trays. Light germinator, do not cover the very fine seeds, just press and keep moist. Prick out once, then plant out

Soil: thrives in any well drained, nutrient rich garden soil

Harvest: Harvest the shoot tips more often, the leaves continuously during the growing season. Cut off flowering herbs 5cm above the ground.

Care instructions: light winter protection in severe barfrost

Taste: aromatic, slightly bitter

Use: With pizza dishes, fish, mussels, lamb, tomato salad
