Growing Your Bluegreen Winter Farinto Leek
For best results, sow Bluegreen Winter Farinto Leek seeds in a greenhouse or directly in the garden in seedbeds up to mid-June, sowing thinly. Once the seedlings reach about the thickness of a pencil, transplant them into plant holes that are 18 cm deep.
Allow the plant and its roots to reach the bottom of the hole and water lightly. As the leek grows, the plant hole will naturally fill in. Choose a location with full sun and well-drained, fertile soil. Ensure consistent moisture, especially during establishment.
These leeks are particularly well-suited for overwintering and providing a late harvest.
