Growing Tips for Your Lupine Avalune Bicolor Seeds:
Sow Lupine Avalune Bicolor seeds on the surface of good quality, free-draining compost and lightly cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Keep the compost damp but not wet and maintain a temperature of 18-25°C (64-77°F) until seedlings appear (usually 18-21 days).
Don’t exclude light as it aids germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into individual pots and grow on in cooler conditions before gradually acclimatizing to outdoor conditions.
Alternatively, direct sow into well-raked soil, spacing plants about 35cm (14 inches) apart in a sunny or semi-shaded spot with well-drained soil.
