Grow Exquisite Ruffled Terracotta Blooms with Lisianthus Rosanne II Terracotta F1 Seeds

Discover the beauty of Lisianthus Rosanne II Terracotta F1, also known as prairie gentian, Texas bluebell, or showy prairie gentian. This F1 hybrid boasts outstanding ruffled flowers in a unique antique terracotta hue. As a Group 2 Lisianthus, it is ideal for early spring to summer harvest. Compared to Rosanne 3 Brown, Rosanne 2 Terracotta flowers slightly earlier and features blooms that are fuller, more heavily ruffled, and possess a warmer terracotta coloration (with less purple undertones than Rosanne 3 Brown).

F1 Hybrid Vigor for Reliable Production

As an F1 hybrid, Lisianthus Rosanne II Terracotta F1 exhibits excellent uniformity and vigor. While Lisianthus can be challenging to grow, this hybrid offers improved reliability. Greenhouse production is highly recommended for optimal results.

Specific Sowing Instructions Requiring Light

Sowing Instructions: Transplanting is strongly recommended. Sow pelleted seeds into 288-cell or preferred deep-cell seedling containers 12-13 weeks before your intended planting-out date. Light is needed for germination, so do not cover the seeds. However, a thin layer of fine vermiculite can be applied to help control algae growth while still allowing light penetration. Maintain a temperature of (20-22°C) for germination, which typically takes 10-15 days.

Optimal Growing Conditions for Cut Flower Production
