Growing Tips for Your Lisianthus Eustoma Russellianum Deep Blue Seeds:

Sow indoors in August. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained, soil-less seed compost. Do not cover seed but gently press seeds into the soil, as light is needed for germination. Maintain an ideal temperature of 20-25°C (68-77°F) and keep the compost moist.

Germination typically takes 10-20 days. When seedlings have developed 4-5 true leaves, and in November, transplant them to the garden with a 15-20cm (6-8 inch) spacing. Pinch back the plant to encourage bushier growth. Lisianthus prefers any acid-free soil (pH 6.5-7.2) that is moist but well-drained, in full or partial sun.

Provide light shade in the hottest regions. Water well during active growth but reduce watering once the plants become established.
