Lisianthus Arena III Red F1 Pelleted Seeds

Introducing the captivating Lisianthus Arena III Red, a unique variety offering blooms reminiscent of antique tea roses from late spring through fall. The intriguing buds emerge as a light green with delicate pink edges.

As these 2-3 inch, fully double flowers mature, the light green transitions to a soft light pink, while the initial pink edging deepens into a rich dark rose.

Chosen for its later blooming period (Group 3), the Arena series allows for a staggered harvest when planted alongside earlier Group 2 varieties.

Also known as prairie gentian, Lisianthus Arena III Red boasts a long vase life of 10-15 days, making it a cherished addition to any garden and bouquet.

Growing Tips for Your Lisianthus Arena III Red F1 Pelleted Seeds:

Transplanting is highly recommended. Sow pelleted seeds into 288-cell or deep-cell seedling containers 12-13 weeks before the intended planting-out time. Greenhouse production is strongly advised. Light is necessary for germination, maintain a soil temperature of 68-72°F (20-22°C) for the 10–15-day germination period.

Plant in well-drained soil rich in organic matter in a sunny to partially sunny location, spacing plants 4-8 inches apart. Harvest when at least one flower on a stem is open.

For optimal vase life, store cut stems at 36-41°F (2-5°C).
