Start seeds 4-6 weeks before your growing season, sowing them 13 mm (approximately ½ inch) deep and 13 mm (½ inch) apart in containers or peat pots filled with well-draining soil. Germination typically takes 14-21 days. Ensure seedlings are thoroughly hardened off before transplanting them into the garden.
