The Aster Duchesse Peony Mix, also known as the King Size Mix, produces exceptionally beautiful 2.5″ to 3″ inch, double and semi-double flower blooms. Its slightly curled petals appear ruffled, a notable difference from the Chamois variety (slightly shorter with intensely inward curled petals). Well-formed plants grow 36″ to 40″ inches tall and produce 8 to 10 blooms. This summer blooming charmer prefers a full sun location and is a well-loved staple for home cutting gardens. Resembling a showy chrysanthemum, these long, straight stemmed peonies are ideal as cut flowers and are favorites for wedding work. Excellent vase life. Packet: 50 seeds.
