Dahlia Black Pierre

Dark rich burgundy red.  Dahlia Black Pierre is a gorgeous new ball dahlia as the flower opens there is a central green eye which will close as the petals fully open.  The flowers are smaller than their bigger brothers and sisters looking like lollipops bobbing through the garden border. Ideal for cut flowers, looks good mixed with reds, blues, orange, greens. Works well planted on its own in bold groups or mixed through hardy perennial plants.
