Sowing Instructions:
Direct Sowing:
Sow the seed thinly directly into finely raked, moist, warm, weed-free soil where the plants are to flower, at a depth of 1.3cm (½ inch). Germination normally takes 10–15 days. As the seedlings develop, thin them out in stages to achieve a final spacing of 23–30cm (9-12 inches).
Sowing for Early Flowering (Following Year):
For early flowering, sow directly in August/September where the plants are to flower.
Starting Indoors (Optional):
Can also be started in trays or pots in a greenhouse Cover 68-75 degrees Fahrenheit, and planted out when the seedlings are big enough to handle.
