With the immigrant Dehner seeds monthly strawberry ‘Rügen’ (botanical name Fragaria vesca) you can harvest fresh strawberries regularly over a long period of time. Sowing is possible from March to August. After 8 – 14 days the annual plants begin to germinate. The strawberries love loose and humus soil in a partially shaded position. It should be sown with a planting distance of 15 cm x 15 cm. The strawberry plants are about 15 cm high and then deliver tirelessly from June to October fresh and healthy strawberries. The fruits of the Dehner Seeds “Rügen” strawberry are elongated and slightly smaller than the usual cultivated strawberries, but all the more flavorful. In addition, the delicious fruits are rich in vitamins A, B1, B2 and C and thus very healthy. Also the leaves of the plant are usable: In the dried state, you can make a tea from these, which is helpful in stomach upset. Even if you do not have a garden, you can still enjoy your own strawberries, because the Dehner Seeds ‘strawberry’ is very well suited for planting in the tub.
