Historic variety of tomatoes
Variety description: The ‘Berner Rose’ is an old Swiss outdoor tomato. It is undemanding and ideal for cooler climates with short summers. It reaches a stature height of 120 cm, is load-bearing and takes a little longer to mature.
Since the light red-pink fruits (120-180 grams) have a thin skin, you should only harvest the tomatoes ripe. 4 – 6 fruits are formed per grape, which taste very pleasantly sweet and aromatic. They are suitable for direct consumption, for salads and sauces.
