Often referred to as Flowering Maple for the maple-like palmate leaves, Abutilon Hybrid mix offers huge single blooms on well branched ornamental leaves with a wide mix of many colors. If given plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures abutilons will flower non-stop and also make excellent house plants. A versatile plant that can be made into standards, grown in pots, and are ideal for specimens in the border. Grows to 24 inches in full sun. Packet. 20

Can be sown anytime for use as a houseplant. Sow in moist potting mix, press seed into mix, barely cover seed. Keep at 72-76 F. and bright light. Transplant to 3 inch pots when 2 sets of leaves appear. Germinates in 14-21 days.
