perennial. Grows very slowly in adolescence. Cut back during winter and cover well. The shoot tips or flowers are harvested during or after flowering on warm or sunny days. The crop is dried and sandy loam soils are particularly suitable. Only in a warm location. The tips of the shoots and whole branches are cooked or roasted with beans and tomato salad. In small quantities also for tea infusions. Wrinkles blood circulation and antispasmodic.
