Traditional Mexican vegetable which is mostly used as the basis for spiciness in chilli and coriander-spiced salsa sauces. Also suitable for chutneys. Tomatillos are plants that require cross-pollination. For this reason, at least 2 plants have to be cultivated. Interesting due to its violet colour. Origin: North America.
