Dark green skin with bright red, tasty fruit flesh. Prefers a sunny location. However, greenhouse cultivation promises a more confident harvest.

Prepare the flat, fertilized soil well.

Greenhouse seeds or window sill seeds in April, 2 cm deep and in May, if there is no risk of frost, plant out. Alternatively, may seeds, 2 – 3 seeds every 150 cm are sown directly at the flower site in 2 m row spacing. After germination thin out to the strongest seedlings. Irrigate regularly. Carefully turn the fruit during ripening to ensure even maturity through the sun. Greenhouse or outdoor sowing: plant the plants at a distance of 150 cm to a sunny spot. Sowing April seeds in the greenhouse and May sows outdoors for a harvest from July to September.

Watermelon balls with shrimp salad. Drizzle finely chopped spring onions, paprika and parsley with lime juice and arrange on a bed of salad with tarragon dressing.
