The asparagus pea forms velvety red flowers from which numerous pods develop. These are harvested young and steamed like beans. They taste like asparagus. Height approx. 40-50 cm.

Germination takes place from a soil temperature of approx. 8 ° C, optimally 20 ° C. The germination time is approx. 7-10 days depending on the temperature.
