This series has been bred to produce perfect-for-cutting, pretty, double, well-filled, rose-like flowers but with a little extra hardiness and resilience making them less susceptible to disease and longer lasting during transportation and in the vase.

Germination Instructions

Sow indoors in August,. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained, soil-less seed compost. Do not cover seed but press seeds gently into the soil. Light is needed for germination. Ideal temp. 20-25°C. Keep moist. Germination takes 10-20 days approx. When 4-5 true leaves have developed, and in November,  transplant to the garden with a 15-20cm spacing. Pinch back plant to encourage bushy growth.

Growing Instructions

Prefers any acid-free( pH 6.5-7.2), moist but well-drained soil in full or partial sun. Offer light shade in the hottest regions. Water well when in growth, but reduce watering as the plant become established.

Cultivation Instructions

Can also be grown on a sunny windowsill until flowering commences, then moved out of direct sun. For cut flowers harvest in the morning when one or more flowers are open on the  stem.
