Sowing
Seeds sown directly into open land in place. Prepare the soil well and rake into a fine crumb. Sow 20 mm deep, 30 cm apart. Thin young plants to a distance of 23 cm.
For flowering in spring
Sow the seeds in 8 cm pots on well-drained soil. Keep at a temperature of 15 – 20 ° C until germination. Slowly get used to outdoor conditions and only stop when there is no longer any risk of frost. Before planting pots outdoors, ensure that the plants have developed a strong root system. The peppery taste of the leaves and the colorful flowers are a good addition to salads. Their immature seeds can be used like capers – delicious on slices with cream cheese or butter.
