Plant
strengthening Contents: 250 ml compost tea, 5 tea bags of field horsetail
for 5 applications

Here’s how:
Boil a bag of field horsetail in 1 liter of water for 1 hour. This is the only way to remove the silicas from the plant. Let cool down.
Pour compost tea into the tea egg, hang it in the watering can and let it steep for 24 hours. It is best to use rainwater or stale tap water as the water, since the chlorine contained in the tap water inhibits the growth of microorganisms. As soon as the field horsetail tea has reached room temperature, it can be added. After 24 hours, the plants can be watered as usual. You can also use and spray the compost tea as a leaf fertilizer. Please make sure to fertilize the leaves early in the morning, otherwise the leaves can be burned by the sun. Compost tea used can be used as fertilizer or composted.

What does compost tea do?
Compost tea nourishes and strengthens the plant. The microorganisms contained in the compost tea invigorate the soil and help the plant to release and absorb nutrients from the soil. This strengthens the plant. In addition, the microorganisms are also absorbed by the plant and work from the inside.
Field horsetail contains a high proportion of flavonoids, silicas, sulfur, minerals, organic acids, saponins and trace elements. It strengthens the leaf tissue and the cell walls by storing silicas, and thus the immune system.

For which plants is compost tea suitable?
Compost tea has a positive effect on all plants as it restores and maintains healthy soil life. The positive microorganisms are not selected or artificially propagated, but the full spectrum of a healthy soil is found. Depending on the conditions found in the planter or soil, the “right” ones will always multiply, that is, soil organisms that work optimally in the current environment and every plant will benefit.

Compost tea works best when used regularly.
