Also called Rapunzel or Nüsslisalat. Strongly growing variety with rosette-shaped growth and large, long, broad, dark green leaves. The variety brings a high yield. For cultivation in the field for harvest in autumn. Hibernation is recommended only in climatically favorable areas.
Sow 1 – 2 cm deep in rows 20 cm apart, sow thinly, press, cover and keep moist. If necessary, separate to 5 – 10 cm. Loves warm, sunny to partially shaded, sheltered location and fresh, nutrient-rich, also calcareous soil.
Cut rosettes short over the ground. Prepare fresh and refine with lemon or other marinades, also with sautéed bacon cubes.
