This eggplant has a similar plant growth as paprika; numerous, round, purple fruits with firm flesh and mild taste. Suitable for the greenhouse or for outdoor cultivation in a sunny spot throughout the summer.

Greenhouse sowing in January to March at 15ºC. Seed the seed 6 mm deep in pots with good seed. In April or May, pike into larger pots. If there is no risk of frost, either under shelter or outdoors, sow in a warm location. Prepare the soil well with fertilizer. Plant the plants at a distance of 70 cm or in large containers or
Pipe pots. Irrigate and fertilize regularly, especially during the dry summer months. To hold the plants, consolidate the soil around the plant with soil or tie it to a stick. The trimming of side shoots is not required. Fruits should be eaten immediately after picking.
‘Italian eggplant’. Dice onions, aubergines and peppers and fry in butter. Add tomatoes and oregano and simmer. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Delicious!
