Aubergine ‘Falcon’ is an aubergine variety with good yield. The approximately 17 cm long and 250 g fruits have a shiny dark purple to black shell. The plant has a compact habit and is also suitable for cultivation in the bed and in the tub. The fruits are ripe when their peel yields to slight pressure. Then the inside is no longer greenish, but the seeds are still small and white. If the fruit peel loses its luster and the seeds begin to grow and turn brownish, then the eggplant is already overripe and its pulp becomes spongy. Ripe fruits hold in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator about a week. Ready to cook, you can also freeze aubergines well.
