Foxglove

Foxglove, also called common foxglove, is a biennial or perennial plant. The plant is common in the Netherlands and Belgium. It is also used in ornamental gardens and self-seeds easily.
Foxgloves grows to a height of 30-150 cm. The plant has ovate to lanceolate leaves, which have gray hairs on the underside. The stem and flower stems are covered with short, soft hairs. Foxglove flowers from May to October with mostly dark red mottled flowers. There are three colors: dark red (hot pink), light purple and white.
