Gladiolus Broken Heart Frizzle

Gladioli Giant Flowering ‘Broken Heart Frizzle’ is perfect for creating an exotic focal point in your summer garden with elegant ruffled flowers of delightful pink and ivory.

Also known as sword-lilies, Gladioli grow striking sword-shaped leaves below their famous spires of bloom, making them perfect for filling out the back of a summer border or as delightful cut flowers.

These Gladioli would mix perfectly with neutral tones such as the elegant Gladioli ‘White Prosperity’ or alternatively with stronger hues such as Gladioli ‘Lake Land’.

We recommend planting these bulbs in two week intervals from March into June to ensure a continual bloom throughout the summer. For the best results, plant in clusters of five or more in a position of full sun with each bulb 10 cm deep and 10 cm apart.

These Gladioli may require staking and will need water during the growing period and mulching with peat or compost to conserve moisture.
