Gladiolus Kingston Ruffle

Gladiolus are herbaceous, perennial, tall plants. Cultivated varieties exceed 1.5 meters in height, while wild flowers are much smaller, reaching up to 30-50 centimeters. Not only the colors vary a lot but also the shape of the flowers and their number. Wild species have flowers with a small diameter of 3-5 centimeters, while cultivated gladioli have large flowers with a diameter of about 15-20 centimeters. The number of flowers in the inflorescence varies between 2 and 12 for wild species and over 20 for cultivated varieties. The flowers of the stags bloom in stages, from the bottom up.
