Charantais

The “Charentais” or “Cavaillon” is a melon variety from France. The fruits weigh about 1 kg. The shell is light green to cream-colored with a cork-like network structure. There are dark green stripes on the shell. The sweet flesh has a bright orange color and is very juicy. A melon needs a lot of heat and light to grow.
