Pineapple berries physalis

The pineapple berry is a close relative of the Andean berry. In comparison, it matures earlier and has a strong taste of pineapple. The first fruits can be harvested as early as June with early sowing. Ripe fruits are often used for decoration purposes, are suitable for salads or for snacking.
